Worked fine for about two weeks, then it died: stuck on a cardinal point and wouldn't give true readings. Reset it, changed batteries, all to no avail.

This is a nice looking unit that I hoped I would like. Unfortunately, each time I tried to calibrate it, it never would. I tried several times trying different locations in the car and places, but I never could get it to calibrate so I returned it. The company that sold it was great in understanding and a refund was returned. I'm not saying that it does not work, only that it did not for me.

I have the same problem with it not calibrating. Push the reset button, drive in a full circle and its supposed to stop flashing and be calibrated. Went out on two separate occasions to different parking lots, etc. -- and the calibration never set. Had to pull out the batteries to get it to stop flashings. Also, the suction cup doesn't work on grained dashboards. Had to use duct tape -- but it wouldn't calibrate.

I bought this compass to use in my 2010 Honsa Odyssey. The camera in thr mirror interferred with its ability to work. David

I've tried this in a couple of locations in my wifes Subaru outback. Can't get it to calibrate. Actually can't get it to work. Doesn't look to bad, but basically I think it's probably junk. I could probably send it back, but with cheap products like this it isn't worth it--better to warn off the next victim.
